Hotty Toddy
Sixthriver, one of our architectural partners, came to us at Studio Dzo to design a centerpiece sign for one of their many student housing projects, this time being at the University of Mississippi. The sign uses the phrase, “Hotty toddy”, which doesn’t mean anything in particular, but can be used as a greeting, cheer or secret handshake. The sign itself is fabricated as an 3” deep aluminum cabinet, with faux-neon push-through acrylic text. The acrylic is translucent, with second surface vinyl to achieve the red glow, and is mounted flush on the wall.
